The Oakville Remembrance Trail Run is an annual trail run held in the heart of Lions Valley, bringing runners and walkers together to move with purpose for Remembrance Day.
This event is more than a run. It is an opportunity to honour the service and sacrifice of Canada’s veterans while supporting Wounded Warriors Canada, a national mental health organization dedicated to helping injured veterans, first responders, and their families. Funds raised through the ORTR go directly to support programs, helping individuals and families heal, build resilience, and thrive beyond their injuries.
Set against the scenic and challenging trails of Lions Valley, the course offers a meaningful run through nature—one that encourages reflection, community, and resilience. Whether you are running for a personal best, in remembrance of someone you love, or simply to support an important cause, every step taken helps make a difference.
We invite runners of all levels to join us as we continue to build a tradition rooted in remembrance, gratitude, and giving back.
